Today my friends was long... but just because of 3 little events...
1. Leland choked on a cookie as his little face was turning red I panicked and pounded his back... which lead to vomit all over my carpet and leg, and some pooh balls that got flung (it was during a diaper change) but my baby was breathing so we moved on with life.
2. He almost fell in the pool at the Hamilton's, and we were all out there watching so why this affected me so much we may never know. He was squatting over the edge trying to get the chlorine holder out and as he toppled forward I said "he's goin in" but thankfully he just fell flat on the concrete (nothing was hurt, but his feel goods) I may have been a little upset with him, and reprimanded him a little hard. I now know what it feels like for those mom's who watch their kids almost get hit by a car, and instead of saying something like "oh thank heavens you are safe" say something like "what the heck were you thinking" and then squeezing the living day lights out of the poor kid. Thankfully he has a Poppy who has a quick reaction time as well, he was up as fast as me if not faster, as his chair actually fell over. I don't think they have ever seen me move that fast:D
3. I think the kiddo had an allergic reaction to my sister in laws dog, not that I am too worried, I gave him some allergy meds and stayed up a bit so I could check on him before I went to bed ( I also showered him off and washed his face and hands and hair)
All I have to say is I am READY for some rest, lets hope Leland sleeps in tomorrow!

Pooh balls! Hahaha...I laughed so hard when I read that.
What a day sista!
Holy smokes, what adrenaline pounding moments! Even now that my youngest are 10 & 9 I still worry about them choking or drowning. I am so glad he's okay! BTW - pooh balls .. great description.. we all can picture it perfectly. Too funny!
All in one day?! Holy cow! Yes, I think you definitely deserve to sleep in tomorrow, if you can sleep at all after those three things.
I too almost died when I read "pooh balls"! Michael has almost drown twice. When I say drown I mean, in the water...covered with water. It is so scary! Needless to say, he's a bit afraid of water.
